Aleksandr Aleksandrovich Skvortsov
Aleksandr Aleksandrovich Skvortsov is a retired Russian Air Force officer and Roscosmos cosmonaut whose three Soyuz flights made him one of the experienced station of the International era. His career sits firmly in long-duration ISS operations, with repeated Soyuz command, station command, and Russian-segment work.

Bio
Skvortsov came from a military aviation family and trained through Russian Air Force schools before selection as a cosmonaut in 1997. That background led into Soyuz commander duties during a period when Russia's spacecraft remained the core crew-transport system for the ISS.
His first flight was Soyuz TMA-18 in 2010 with Mikhail Korniyenko and Tracy Caldwell Dyson. Skvortsov served aboard 23 and 24 and commanded the ISS during Expedition 24.
He returned on Soyuz TMA-12M in 2014 with Oleg Artemyev and Steven Swanson, then flew Soyuz MS-13 in 2019 with Luca Parmitano and Andrew Morgan. Across three missions he accumulated more than 545 days in space and performed two EVAs.
