Bio
Antonelli studied aerospace engineering and flew operational and test aircraft for the Navy before NASA. His astronaut career came during the final years of shuttle ISS assembly, when cockpit crews were delivering major station systems and logistics.
He piloted STS-119, which delivered the final pair of ISS solar-array wings, and STS-132, an Atlantis mission that delivered the Russian Rassvet module and logistics hardware.
After NASA, Antonelli worked in commercial and civil space leadership, including Sierra Nevada and related spaceplane work.
