Bio
Metcalf-Lindenburger studied geology and worked as a high school Earth science and astronomy teacher before NASA selected her as an educator astronaut with Astronaut Group 19 in 2004.
She flew STS-131 in 2010, a major ISS logistics mission that carried the Leonardo Multi-Purpose Logistics Module to the station.
