Duane G. Carey
Duane Gene "Digger" Carey is an American Air Force officer, test pilot, engineer, and former NASA astronaut. Selected in NASA Astronaut Group 16 in 1996, he piloted one of the Hubble Space Telescope servicing missions.

Bio
Carey studied aerospace engineering and served as an Air Force fighter and test pilot before NASA. His only spaceflight was STS-109 aboard Columbia in 2002.
STS-109 was the fourth Hubble servicing mission. Carey piloted Columbia while the crew upgraded Hubble's power system, camera systems, and other equipment, extending the observatory's scientific life.
