Bio
Boe graduated from the United States Air Force Academy and became an Air Force test pilot before NASA. His first flight was STS-126, an ISS logistics mission that expanded station living capacity for six-person crews.
He piloted STS-133, Discovery's final flight, which delivered the Permanent Multipurpose Module and Robonaut 2. Boe was also part of NASA's astronaut assignments, including early Boeing Starliner test-flight planning, before leaving the active flight path.
