Garrett Erin Reisman is an American engineer, former NASA astronaut, professor, and commercial-space advisor. His NASA record combines a long-duration ISS stay with shuttle assembly work.

Bio
Reisman studied economics and mechanical engineering at the University of Pennsylvania and earned graduate degrees in mechanical engineering from Caltech. His research and engineering background shaped his later work in both NASA and systems.
He launched on STS-123, lived aboard the ISS during 16 and 17, and returned on STS-124. He later flew STS-132, an Atlantis assembly mission that delivered the Russian Rassvet module.
After NASA, Reisman worked at SpaceX and taught astronautics. His Expedition 16/17 time belongs inside the STS-123 / STS-124 card because that is the launch-and-return flight record.
