Gregory Harold "Box" Johnson is an American retired Air Force colonel, test pilot, and former NASA astronaut. He flew two shuttle missions as pilot during the final phase of International assembly.

Bio
Johnson graduated from the United States Air Force Academy and Columbia University, then served as an Air Force pilot and test pilot. NASA selected him with Astronaut Group 17 in 1998.
He piloted STS-123 in 2008, which delivered the first component of Japan's Kibo laboratory and the Canadian Dextre robotics system. He later piloted STS-134, Endeavour's final mission, which delivered the Alpha Magnetic to the ISS.
After NASA, Johnson led the Center for the Advancement of Science in Space and later worked in private aerospace. His postflight work kept him connected to station research and commercial space operations.
