Kevin A. Ford
Kevin Anthony Ford is an American Air Force officer, test pilot, aerospace engineer, and retired NASA astronaut. Selected by NASA in 2000, he moved from high-performance aviation and test work into shuttle and long-duration ISS operations.

Bio
Ford graduated from the University of Notre Dame and served in the Air Force as a fighter pilot, instructor, and test pilot. At NASA he worked as a CAPCOM and in operations roles before his first spaceflight.
His first mission was STS-128, a shuttle logistics flight to the ISS. Ford served as pilot of Discovery during a mission that delivered supplies, experiments, and hardware to support continued station assembly and utilization.
He later launched on Soyuz TMA-06M and served aboard 33 and 34, including command of Expedition 34. That mission placed him in the mature station era, focused on research, maintenance, visiting vehicles, and long-duration crew operations.
