Léopold Eyharts

Bio
Eyharts trained as a French military pilot and test pilot before astronaut selection. His first mission was Soyuz TM-27 / Soyuz TM-26, a short-duration French-Russian visit to Mir known as Pégase.
His second flight launched on STS-122 with the Columbus laboratory. Eyharts remained aboard the ISS as part of 16 to activate Columbus and integrate ESA's laboratory into station operations, then returned on STS-123.
Eyharts' record is especially useful for the station-era layout because the shuttle flight and ISS expedition are one continuous spaceflight.
