Loral O'Hara
Loral Ashley O'Hara is an American engineer and NASA astronaut. Selected in NASA Astronaut Group 22 in 2017, she came to NASA with aerospace engineering, ocean engineering, and field operations experience.

Bio
O'Hara studied aerospace engineering at the University of Kansas and Purdue University. Before NASA she worked in oceanographic and submersible engineering, including operations with Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, giving her a strong exploration-systems background.
Her first spaceflight launched on Soyuz MS-24. O'Hara served aboard 69 and 70, supporting ISS research, maintenance, visiting vehicles, and crew operations during a mature station increment.
During her station mission she also performed work, adding exterior station operations to her expedition record. Her background makes her career a useful example of the overlap between ocean exploration engineering and spaceflight operations.
