Oleg Yuryevich Atkov
Oleg Yuryevich Atkov is a Russian cardiologist and former Soviet cosmonaut who flew one long-duration Salyut 7 mission. He was selected as a physician-researcher at a time when the Soviet program was studying the medical consequences of increasingly long orbital stays.

Bio
Atkov trained as a medical doctor and cardiologist and joined cosmonaut training from a biomedical research background rather than a military pilot path. His role on Salyut 7 centered on cardiovascular monitoring, adaptation to weightlessness, and long-duration crew health.
He launched on Soyuz T-10 with Leonid Kizim and Vladimir Solovyov in February 1984 and returned on Soyuz T-11 in October. The mission spent more than 236 days in space, setting an endurance record at the time for the crew. Salyut 7 EO-3 is the station context and should live inside that card.
