Bio
Satcher earned chemical engineering degrees from MIT and a medical degree and doctorate from Harvard. Before NASA he built a career in orthopedic oncology and biomedical research.
He flew STS-129, an International logistics and spare-parts mission. During that flight he performed two with Mike Foreman, working on external station hardware and equipment transfer.
