Sergey Aleksandrovich Volkov
Sergey Aleksandrovich Volkov is a retired Russian cosmonaut, military pilot, and three-time International crew member. He is also historically notable as the first second-generation space traveler: his father, Aleksandr Aleksandrovich Volkov, flew Soviet and Russian missions to Salyut 7 and Mir.

Bio
Volkov trained as a pilot before joining the cosmonaut corps in 1997. His background combined aviation, a family connection to long-duration station operations, and the post-Soviet Russian crew pipeline that supplied Soyuz to the ISS.
His first flight was Soyuz TMA-12 in 2008, when he commanded 17 and became one of the youngest ISS commanders. He returned for Soyuz TMA-02M in 2011 during Expeditions 28 and 29, then flew Soyuz TMA-18M in 2015-2016 during Expeditions 45 and 46.
The Expedition 17, 28/29, and 45/46 labels are station increments inside those Soyuz flights, not separate launches. Volkov's completed record is three Soyuz/ISS missions, four , and 547 days, 22 hours, 21 minutes in space.
