Timothy J. Creamer

Bio
Creamer served in the United States Army as an aviator, test pilot, and engineer before joining NASA. His technical background included work in guidance, navigation, and control, which translated naturally into spacecraft operations and station systems.
He launched on Soyuz TMA-17 and served aboard 22 and 23. During that ISS mission he supported station research, maintenance, visiting-vehicle operations, robotics, and crew operations during a period when the outpost was transitioning into full six-person utilization.
After his flight, Creamer moved into flight-director work, giving him a second major role in human spaceflight. That made his career more than a single expedition: he later helped lead real-time operations for other crews from mission control. His significance is in the combination of Army test experience, Soyuz launch and landing, ISS flight-engineer work, and later flight-director leadership.
