Mongolian commercial spacecraft on shared launches
ONDO Space developed the ONDOSAT-OWL small-satellite network. Exolaunch records the company among its customers on Transporter-10 in March 2024 and Bandwagon-2 in December 2024. These records establish participation in actual orbital campaigns. They do not, by themselves, establish the later performance of every spacecraft or a continuously available customer service.
The published coordination application for ONDOSAT-OWL-1 and -2 describes a message experiment. In that arrangement, a spacecraft receives a short message, holds it and later passes it onward when a suitable contact is available. This is useful for understanding how a network can collect information from separated locations without maintaining an uninterrupted link at every moment.

A message can be useful without arriving immediately
An occasional equipment reading may remain useful after a delay, while a live conversation needs a different service. Designers must distinguish the time a measurement was made from the time a customer received it. A record of yesterday’s condition should not silently appear as a current reading simply because it has just arrived.
Imagine a sensor creates a message at 10:00. A satellite receives it at 10:12, and a ground gateway receives it at 10:27. The message is twenty-seven minutes old at delivery, even if the final radio transfer took only seconds. This invented example separates waiting time from transmission time. It does not describe a measured ONDOSAT or guarantee that a particular message will be delivered.
Message age includes waiting between contacts
Original teaching diagram. INVENTED TIMELINE. 10:00 measurement created. 10:12 received by satellite. 10:27 GATEWAY DELIVERY. Message age: 27 minutes. Not just radio transfer time. Keep creation and reception timestamps so a delayed reading is not mistaken for a current one.

Deployment, coordination and service are separate checks
The IARU record for the first two spacecraft states that amateur-frequency coordination was declined. The fact that a request was filed must therefore not be represented as approval. This historical disposition is separate from whether hardware was built, launched or heard by a receiver. Each claim needs the relevant kind of evidence.
A functioning service also needs a way to identify duplicate messages, preserve timestamps and determine whether missing data reflects a quiet sensor or a failed path. For an invented batch of one hundred expected readings, ninety received readings give ninety-percent delivery for that batch. That figure does not specify delay, accuracy or long-term availability. Comparing networks requires clear definitions and a measured interval, not simply counting satellites in a launch announcement.
