Space programs and missions · A guided course
From six-band measurements to useful maps and lasting engineering knowledge
Explore South Africa’s imaging pathfinder through multispectral measurements, ground operations, disaster mapping and the different lifetimes of a satellite and its data.
Suggested preparation is listed in the course · Start whenever you’re ready
Rute Martins photographed the Hartebeesthoek satellite applications facility on 3 February 2013. The ground station received SumbandilaSat imagery; this later panorama shows its setting, not a particular SumbandilaSat pass or a spacecraft photograph.
